With NF-ESL PRO we address professional users in sound, video and film studios, as well as amateurs and hi-fi enthusiasts who have a very high demand on the accuracy of the sound reproduction of their monitor. The NF-ESL PRO is a wide band sound converter that reproduces the frequency range from 37Hz - 21 kHz. There is no electrical frequency division of the membrane (as is common with some full range ESL). This eliminates phase shifts between woofers, midrange and tweeters, which are common in conventional multi-way systems. This results in the possibility of a very close placement to the listener. Known disadvantages in the reproduction of loudspeakers in living rooms, such as resonances, reverberation, wall, ceiling and floor reflections of sound, do not have any influence on the reproduction quality. The use of an ultra-thin (1.5 µm) and thus virtually massless film as a transducer membrane makes the alternative use of electrostatic headphones - with their known disadvantages such as "in head location" and lack of (wear) comfort - in most cases superfluous.
